My vision is to create work with a fresh and contemporary style that encapsulates a feeling of history and longevity. I want my artwork to have the same effect as the great music, art and literature of the past – to sit in the subconscious and resonate with the viewer now and into the future.

In a world where urban life and man-made structures collide with the organic shapes of nature, my aim is to abstract and reconstruct these elements to create an eclectic montage of work that brings harmony and balance into the contemporary environment.

Danny is a founder member of early 80s seminal post-punk band Modern Eon. He is Liverpool-born but spent his early teens in the 70s growing up in Skelmersdale – a New Town which was bright, modern and futuristic. In the 70s environment of heavy rock, glam rock, modern architecture and new art forms, he started to explore his creative inclinations through music and art with music being his primary artistic pursuit.

He enjoyed a significant level of success in the music world but after Modern Eon split (and several musical adventures later) art became his number one passion.

As a ‘mature’ student Danny went to London College of Printing where he discovered a particular passion for printmaking and obtained an upper 2:1 BA (Hons.) in Print Media (Surface Design).

Danny’s love of silkscreen printing has evolved and he now utilises Photoshop as the perfect alternative to traditional print media. Importing photography, texture, line drawing and using layering techniques, he has developed a distinctive style creating artworks of a complex and dynamic nature.
